These plastic finger guards, MSFG, are available off the shelf and provides and IP 2XC protection degree for cabling openings on internal side panels, MSPS, or mounting plates, MSMPN. With these, personnel can work safely within the enclosure, without any risk of contact with live sections.

- The guards ensure that the enclosure complies with IEC 61439, regarding segregation
- Maintainers can work safely inside the enclosure, without the risk of touching live sections
- The guards can be mounted onto the cable openings on the internal side panels (MSPS) and onto the cable openings on the mounting plate (MSMPN) that have either vertical or horizontal openings
